Cassper Nyovest Makes Light of Wedding Rumours

Cassper Nyovest is using his quick wit and on-point meme-game to dispel rumours about his love life.

According to a local blog, the 33-year-old multi-award-winning rapper was hitched on Saturday, 16 March. The blog shared a “leaked” wedding invitation, revealing that Nyovest would be tying the knot with his childhood sweetheart, Pulane Mojaki, in their hometown of Mafikeng, North West.

However, the pending nuptials were apparently news to Nyovest, who took to social media on the same day to joke about the situation.

“Monna, you’re just like me. I also found out online. They chose the date and venue for me and invited me to my own wedding. Let me know if you find anything,” the musician humorously said on Twitter in response to a fan who asked him about the situation.

Clearly enjoying himself, Nyovest took to Instagram later the same day, posting a meme with a chuckling child and the caption: “When someone says they can’t wait for your wedding but they’re not invited.”

Fans quickly joined in the shenanigans, with one jokingly replying, “Cassper Nyovest the 1st man to be invited in his own wedding[sic]”.
